As a cancer survivor, Jeff White knows the importance of community outreach and support. Being diagnosed with cancer is terrifying, but with the help and support of family and friends the journey becomes a little easier. In 1998 there was no place like Gilda’s in Barrie and many families, Jeff’s included, could have benefited from walking through the red door.

As stated on their website “Because no cancer care plan is complete without emotional and social support, Gilda’s Club offers an innovative program of networking and support groups, education workshops and social activities all free of charge for people living with cancer – and their friends and families. The clubhouse environment is warm, welcoming, and non-institutional.”

Now that the red doors are open wide welcoming everyone in the community that have been touched by cancer, it is important to support them in whatever way possible so that the red doors remain open. Jeff White Group and staff are committed in helping and have donated year round property maintenance services at Gilda’s since the doors opened, and will remain doing so as long as they are needed.

This is another charity that Jeff White Group gives back to. Our mission is to provide meaningful support to those touched by a life limiting illness, thereby enhancing quality end of life.”

At the Jeff White Group, we love our pets!  We have donated year round property maintenance to the OSPCA in Barrie for the past several years. This enables the OSPCA to budget more money to the health and care of the animals in the shelter.
